MGA FAQs: Who, Where, When, What, How . . . and WHY!

HOW:

Students, parents, and teachers commit to emulating Christ in their conduct, their conversation, and their efforts. Students sign a Code of Conduct that delineates our expectations for classroom behavior, and are expected to abide by it. Parents are provided a Parent Partnership Statement that outlines our expectations for completion of homework assignments necessary to profitable group discussion and interactive learning. We are partners in educating our and your children, and clearly defined expectations are foundational to success in this venture.

We limit class sizes to 10 – 12 students per class. The Humanities studies (World History/ Literature) relies heavily upon discussion, with the students preparing by reading, researching, and writing outside of class. Science is lab-based and include individual projects in preparation for a Science Fair. Math Lab allows individualized tutoring.

Our Upper School teachers are all experienced teachers; in particular, our Math and Science teachers are certified in their subject areas.  Teachers are dedicated to one subject area so they may teach to their passion.
