From MGA Parents
"We believe that a school should implement every moment into academic challenges as well as providing fun opportunities for children both academically and socially. Our family has found the perfect fit for our daughter at MGA. Our daughter has previously attended private school, which did not fulfill our academic criteria, as well as our daughter dreading the long school day every single day. This is our first year at MGA and our daughter not only loves attending school, but also the teacher/parent partnership is a wonderful compliment to the academics. We have found the directors and educators quite accessible, and communication effortless. We have grown much closer as a family because we are more involved with the implementation of our daughter’s education. Our daughter loves her teachers and friends at MGA, and expresses the wish to attend MGA 'forever!'"

"Our family has been homeschooling for 5 years. This year our son was entering the teen years and that brought a need for some changes in his schooling. While I do love homeschooling I could see that the path we had been on was no longer a great fit for our new season. MGA has been a delightful match for our family and we truly believe we have found the best of both worlds!"

"Can I just say we ~love~ MGA!
Morning Glory is truly the next best thing to homeschooling for our family. We have 5 kids in the school from age 7 up to 16 and they are all flourishing and growing under the wonderful caring direction of Leslie and Susan and their devoted teaching staff.
First of all, if you are looking for a place for your homeschooled teen, this is a wonderful environment as there is an informal feel and they can relax but they are still given appropriate work levels along with support for harder topics like upper math, writing and science. All of the teachers are passionate about their subjects AND truly enjoy their students. My 3 teens are finding themselves challenged but there is a nice balance of topics and time for fellowship in between classes that gives them a well-rounded experience overall.
The Grammar school is also excellent with loving teachers and fun kids. My 7 & 10 year old girls are enjoying history, science, literature and playing with friends under the supervision of caring dedicated teachers. The kids are very friendly and we felt at home from the very first day. All of the good things you would want without the pressure of a full-time schedule."

"I just wanted to put a little 'plug' in for MGA!!! As new homeschoolers this year, MGA has been a Godsend. I LOVE that we are still 'homeschooling' but that I can also work part-time and know that my son is getting a great education in his core classes, social opportunities, and LOTS of flexibility. We absolutely love the directors (Leslie Kent and Susan Riddle) and think that they do a fantastic job of managing/teaching the core curriculum. It is small and intimate enough that the teachers develop relationships with the kids and parents, and large enough for the children to develop friendships and social interactions. It has been a great fit for us this year, and want to pass the word along from someone who has been there. I know they are having some open houses coming up, so thought this would be a good time to weigh in with my 2 cents!!
Thanks Leslie and Susan for providing another wonderful education option for those of us who choose not to place our children in public education!!"

"My son's life has been so enriched by his classes at MGA. He has made good
friends and been stretched academically by his participation. He remains
enthusiastic about MGA, even with the at-home work that Upper School
students are assigned. We count MGA a blessing in our homeschool life."

"We can highly recommend Morning Glory Academy. MGA is a part-time, private school with small class sizes. MGA has a well-rounded curriculum, including all the basics; knowledgeable teachers (who are involved with the school); and I enjoy partnering with the teachers, who keep the parents updated with their weekly accomplishments.
My daughter (8th Grade level) has been participating for two years. Before that, we were not totally happy wherever we were, or the price was prohibitive. At MGA, we immediately felt a connection with the group -- part of the family. It’s the first time she has loved going to school.
There are many social activities, if we choose to participate. My daughter has found close friends with whom we enjoy movies, sleepovers, skating, park days and all aspects of life."
